I have almost forty years of experience in the commercial aerospace and ground vehicle industries. My roles included stints in engineering, business development, strategy, and profit and loss leadership of businesses. I was also fortunate enough to work with my wife to operate a small retail business for twenty years in Binghamton. Throughout my career, I have been able to help struggling organizations get back on track or create organizations to respond to new opportunities. Examples include growing an aftermarket sales and support organization (directly supporting airlines around the globe) by a factor of five, introducing a new technology (hybrid propulsion systems for transit buses) successfully into North America and growing it into Europe, creating joint ventures to gain access to new markets, and building and growing a successful retail business. In each of these cases the key to success was working with teams and individuals to establish organizational and business goals, develop clear understanding of customers needs, and working together to resolve the inevitable problems that arise. I enjoy working to with people to help solve organizational, business, and marketing and sales challenges. I have significant financial experience as well as the ability to quickly grasp new business ideas.
